Contorno
Contorno, a ceramics studio in Mexico City, needed a new website. We wanted the spirit of play and experimentation to come across in the designs, since they love working with non-traditional materials and techniques. I worked on the infrastructure of the website to make the membership models easy to understand, and built a members-only log-in so that members could easily sign up for and track their class packages.
I created a suite of illustrations to add a sense of playfulness to the site, and combined them with gridded elements inspired by graph paper and back-to-school notetaking.
We took visual inspiration from primary colors, pegboards and school supplies.
